The building
The building at 51 Grande Rue has housed one of Barbizon's most consistent restaurant addresses for decades — noted by Michelin and Gault & Millau across successive ownerships. On 26 January 2026 Cyrine Jarretie reopened it under her own name, with a scope that goes well beyond a single dining room.
The gastronomic restaurant anchors the address: a seasonal French menu built on fresh produce, running lunch and dinner Thursday to Monday. The cooking draws on classical technique with enough personality to justify the Gault & Millau rating. The terrasse and glazed verandah are the rooms to ask for.
Alongside it, Cyrine has built out an entire day-to-night offer. The coffee shop opens the morning. The bar à tapas and happy hour take the afternoon. L'Autre Nuit — the night bar in the basement — takes everything else. La Boutique par Cyrine Jarretie, the épicerie fine attached to the address, runs its own hours and sells wine, provisions and prepared goods.
It is the most ambitious single address in the village right now, and the one most likely to still be running at midnight.
